If college basketball video games returned, the fans voted that this UNC basketball standout would be the best player from the ACC to be the cover athlete.
It’s been quite some time since a college basketball video game was released.
In fact, the last time was in 2010, as NCAA Basketball 10 was the final installment of the video game series, ending a 10-year run.
With the new NIL rules in place, student-athletes now can make money off their Name, Image, and Likeness. In the past, college sports video games typically did not use players’ names, but now have the potential to do so, which makes the return of these games even more enticing for fans.
There have been rumblings about a college football video game return, but hey, what about college basketball?!
Well, FOX College Hoops seems to totally be on board with this, as they polled their Twitter followers on which ACC player would they like to see grace the cover of a potential college basketball video game.
The fans have spoken, and of course, they want to see a UNC basketball standout on the cover!

Armando Bacot was selected by the fans as the ACC player they’d most like to see on the video game cover. The Tar Heel standout edged out Paolo Banchero of Duke, Buddy Boeheim of Syracuse as well as Blake Wesley of Notre Dame in the recent fan vote.
Not only would it be great to get college basketball video games back on the various gaming platforms, but it would be even more legit to see a Tar Heel grace the cover in its return.
We just have one question…
Who do we reach out to in order to make this happen?!
