Some gamers are in for more disappointment as Hogwarts Legacy draws closer to its public launch. Not only does the highly anticipated video game from Warner Bros. Interactive has four different dates for release, but now some players are finding their preorders have been canceled by the game’s publisher.
Recent delays for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Hogwarts Legacy, which are now scheduled for release on April 4, are reportedly the reason behind the preorder cancelations. According to GameRant, “This version of the game is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition for the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions, which is causing the pre-order cancelation.”
Some users on Twitter have reached out to the WB Games Support account to find out more information. Many inquiries regarding the placement of new preorders or refunds have been redirected to Xbox or PlayStation’s individual customer support pages. WB Games Support has assured players affected by the cancelations that they can reorder Hogwarts Legacy again without any issues.
