
JAKARTA — Falcon Esports of Myanmar continued to live up to its darkhorse tag after defeating Incendio Supremacy of Turkey, 3-2, in their lower bracket third round match in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championship on Wednesday in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Falcon, which is being coached by Filipino tactician Steve “Dale” Vitug, will face either RRQ Hoshi of host Indonesia or defending champion Blacklist International, who will slug it out later today in a best-of-five series.
Falcon has already won twice to the Codebreakers in this tournament, pulling off a 1-0 win in their group stage match while also defeating the Philippine powerhouse in their tiebreaker clash.
Falcon is among several M4 teams that is being led by a Filipino mentor after Burn X Flash, Occupy Thrones, RRQ Hoshi, Onic Esports, Pinoy teams Blacklist and Echo.
