Supermassive’s The Quarry and the recently announced High on Life were both meant to be Stadia exclusives, a new report suggests.
Axios says both titles began development as Stadia exclusives for Google, though that obviously changed when Google began to downsize the division.
As you’d likely expect, neither Supermassive nor Squanch Games addressed the report. That said, a representative for Take-Two, the parent company of The Quarry publisher 2K said that Supermassive “was looking for a publishing partner as the project came to completion” in the wake of the reported changes.
The Quarry heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 on 10 June. We reviewed it here.
High on Life heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X in October 2022.
