Market research company NDP Group has announced its list of the top ten bestselling video games for 2022. Activision Blizzard’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 topped the list, unsruprisingly, for both 2022 overall as well as for the month of December. See the full list below.

Note that digital sales were not included in these rankings for games marked with an asterix (*).
It was also a good year for action-RPG Elden Ring, which found both critical and commercial success in 2022, having taken Game of the Year honors at the The Game Awards 2022.
