Happy new year! It’s the first news story of the year, and what better way to kick things off than with the final UK charts of 2022.
On Xbox Series X|S, its Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II that ends the year at number one. Just behind it at number two is a resurgent Saints Row, thanks to some deep boxing day discounts. Forza Horizon 5, FIFA 23, and Sonic Frontiers round out the rest of the top five, while the rest of the charts remain mostly unchanged, with the exception of Halo Infinite, which breaks back in at number nine.
Over on Xbox One, its FIFA 23 that sits at the top of the pack as the year comes to a close, with GTA V following shortly behind. NBA 2K23 climbs thirteen places to finish at third place, while Minecraft drops down to number sixteen.
