The Quarry, developer Supermassive Games’ spiritual successor to PS4 favourite Until Dawn, is finished and ready for manufacturing. The developer confirmed on Twitter that the game has gone gold, which for those who aren’t up-to-date with industry lingo, means a final build has been submitted to platform holders like Sony, ready to be printed on Blu-ray discs and uploaded to the PS Store.
The game – which has an incredible 186 endings – will release on 10th June, so you’ll have to sit tight and wait patiently for release day. Fascinatingly, while much of the gameplay in the narrative-driven horror will focus on making decisions, there will be a Movie Mode, which will allow you to enjoy the experience without ever pressing a button – an interesting and unusual addition, for sure.
