As Xbox works hard to finalize its deal to purchase Activision Blizzard, the company has hit Sony as a roadblock along with regulators. Recently, Xbox offered to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation for another ten years to smooth things over, and this deal has now, surprisingly, been expanded to Nintendo.
Tweeted by Phil Spencer this afternoon, backed up his tweet stating that “Microsoft and Activision Blizzard King. Microsoft is committed to helping bring more games to more people – however they choose to play,” by announcing a ten-year deal to bring Call of Duty to Nintendo over the next ten years. He also mentioned that they’d continue to release Call of Duty on Steam.
